Over and out McCann!

Last week I said goodbye to the talented bunch at McCann Birmingham. I didn’t expect to be writing this so soon, but sometimes life throws you a curveball. After (almost) 6 years of working in small-medium sized agencies and doing freelance, I made the decision to join McCann in 2023. Because that’s where the culture-shaping cool sh*t happens.

Imagine landing a dream job, then realising that (maybe) it isn’t the right career path. That’s what happened, and I’ve never been so conflicted in my life. It’s been a whirlwind of an experience; working on the biggest account of my career, playing a role in the Conscious Inclusion Council, receiving wisdom from the best marketing veterans and along the way learning a lot about myself.

Sometimes you have to try things to understand where your passions lie and what you value the most.

I’m grateful to have discovered that at McCann.

Now, onto some freelance and hobbies while I seek out what’s next.
